Marvel released the second trailer for Captain America: Civil War on Thursday which features the first appearance of the newest incarnation of Spider-Man.

Spider-Man has a history of being in film, but this is the first time ‘underoos’ (as he is referred to in the trailer) has been included in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Sony Pictures has had the rights to the character since 1999, but Marvel and Sony made a deal to share the rights last year. Spider-Man, aka Peter Parker, will be

played by Tom Holland who made his acting debut in the lead part of Billy Elliot the Musical on the West End in 2008. He will be the third actor to play the part in recent years taking the mantle from Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. A solo Spider-Man film is slated to release on July 7, 2017.

Civil War features a bigger cast and a bigger story than Marvel’s typical solo movies. Along with the web-slinger, Chadwick Boseman will also be making his debut as The Black Panther. Boseman is also slated to reprise the role in a Black Panther film to come out February 16, 2018.

The film features many old faces from past Marvel movies including Captain America, The Winter Soldier, Iron Man, Black Widow, and Hawkeye. A surprising return is William Hurt as General Thaddeus E. “Thunderbolt” Ross who has been absent from the silver screen since The Incredible Hulk in 2008.

The trailer focuses on the fact that the heroes that once were all on the same team, are now forced to fight each other.

Marvel wants its fans to pick a side too encouraging people to tweet out in support of #TeamCap or #TeamIronMan.

The film was directed by Emmy winners Anthony Russo and Joseph V. Russo (The Russo Brothers) who also directed Captain America: The Winter Soldier. They will also direct Avengers: Infinity War Part I and II.
